You will be reporting to our Manger of Interface Development. You will work on cool web sites that inspire users and create compelling digital experiences. You take pride in seeing projects through to completion and constantly upgrading your technical skills. You have the ability to code HTML, CSS and Action Script by hand.
An Interface Developer - Flash is technically able to manipulate object properties and variables in the Flash environment, while creatively being able to translate a client's business goals into a compelling Flash piece.
RESPONSIBILITIES /
* Effectively interpret a client's needs as outlined in creative briefs and translate them into compelling visual designs
* Contribute to the design of web interfaces using techniques based on usability theory and concepts related to visual flow
* Design web graphics primarily using Flash, but also using Photoshop, Illustrator, or Freehand as appropriate
* Demonstrate an understanding of client side web tools such as Shockwave and DHTML
* Combine design theory and take into consideration content, navigational structure and usability issues to create a powerful and integrated experience.
* Assist clients with the formulation of their web strategies
* Apply your deep understanding of typography, illustration, storyboarding and iconography when working on web projects
* Work within project schedules and within deadlines
* Collaborate with Creative Directors and other members of the User Experience team to ensure consistency with the project's overall goals and the client's expectations
* Mentor other designers and support them in their career development and performance management by providing constructive feedback
* Take an active lead on projects as they are passed to junior designers to provide guidance, mentorship, and ensure designs maintain cohesive look and feel
* Diffuse problems and put forward solutions that are in the best interest of the company and employees

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE /
* A mind-blowing portfolio of your design work that demonstrates creative flair, preferably showcasing your work with global brands
* New Media diploma from an established school or equivalent experience
* 3 to 5 years technical experience and/or demonstrated expertise with advanced Flash functions
* Can achieve desired effects with Flash rapidly and understands the implications of technical decisions

Skills Required:
